Never have the Three Powers of the Republic been so locked up as they are today. For a long time now, a compromise has been demanded between them, with the aim, not to say of redefining roles - since such roles and competences of each one are constitutionally defined - but in the sense that the squares are respected. Such skirmishes cannot lead to good results. There is a clear attempt by the Legislative Power to interfere in the Executive Power, with the purpose of "governing", either through the expediency of changing laws, or in the conduct of public policies, indicating names not to meet the public policy guidelines set forth by the Power Executive, but to satisfy their interests, sometimes not necessarily republican.

In extreme situations, the STF comes to the aid of the Executive, vetoing some of these "investigations", but, as we stated before, such indispositions, in the long term, cannot lead to good results. The STF was voting on the Temporal Framework, already with two votes for "no" when Justice André Mendonça, through a request for a view, interrupted the vote. We are not going to go into the merits of Minister André Mendonça's arguments here, but that means that maybe we can "zero" the game's score, due to the new circumstances that should arise from now on.

The first of these is in relation to the demobilization of communities of indigenous peoples, who were on duty and mobilized to follow the events in Brasilia. The country cannot allow any kind of setback regarding the rights of native peoples. By the way, no kind of setback in the legal frameworks of legislation and environmental policies, which are currently undergoing atrocious harassment.
